INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL, CULTURA E INNOVACIÓN EN LA ENSEÑANZA DEL ESPAÑOL

This course explores the possibilities that technology and artificial intelligence offer for teaching Spanish. Special attention will be given to how these tools can enrich the transmission of culture in the classroom, fostering a more dynamic integration of literature, art, history, traditions, and contemporary cultural expressions. The course will also present didactic strategies and methodological resources that enable teachers to promote learning through the joint teaching of language and culture.

• Reconsider the role of the Spanish teacher in digital environments, promoting active methodologies and the improvement of learning experiences.
• Integrate artificial intelligence tools to develop intercultural competence that reflect the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.
• Promote pedagogical innovation in the design and creation of teaching proposals.

Contents

1. The Role of the Spanish Teacher in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (22.5 hours)
   • Exploring the teacher’s role as a creator of digital content, capable of designing original materials supported by AI and oriented toward active methodologies and meaningful learning.
   • Analyzing the teacher’s role as a pedagogical mediator, promoting interaction, learner autonomy, and the use of effective didactic strategies in digital environments.
2. Digital Culture and Intercultural Competence in the Spanish Classroom (22.5 hours)
   • Analyzing how AI and digital culture enhance intercultural mediation and the use of authentic materials.
   • Promoting the integration of art, music, cinema, and literature as means to develop intercultural competence and critical thinking.
   • Conducting a practical workshop on digital tools for creating materials that foster intercultural competence.
3. Pedagogical Innovation and Practical Application (15 hours)
   • Addressing key aspects of pedagogical innovation applied to the Spanish classroom, with a particular focus on task and activity design.
   • Developing a final practical project based on the creation and presentation of an innovative teaching proposal that combines creativity and technology through a cultural approach.
